Hi Staff!

I have no idea who you are by name, or I would have posed this question via pm instead.

And for future ref if I can find someone who's an admin/mod I'll ask something like this privately.

Anyhow here goes. Today I posted in two threads today, which I saw over there ------>

Under the featured threads lists. The post/thread wasn't started by me, but I replied to them.

But, later on, when I came back, I see it still says there are no replies to the thread.

Even though I know there's at least one reply in it, mine. LOL

So my q is this. Is it showing me no replies yet because it doesn't count my own there.

Or am I broke and need to fix something?

I"m just wondering because that's how I've been "following" a thread throughout the day. Go back and chk what I see over there---->

And then, once I see there's replies go back and read the thread/ other replies if it's one I was a part of the convo in.

Anyhow thanks for taking the time to read this, and hopefully tell me whether I'm broken or not.

Sorry while at one time I knew lots about computers/net tech, it's changed so much.

That today, my old arse is a computer illiterate anymore. LOL

The board software takes a while to "see" the new reply
and update the counter. The counters are refreshed every
so often and I honestly don't know what the time interval
is. I've never been asked before. lol.

I've noticed that also.

I usually just click on the upper left corner where it says "new posts" and go from there, it allows me to see what I missed during my absence.

That's the best way.

Or you can do the 'quick links' if you would like to look a little further back. That's my SOP
