Todays Day Thread comes equipped with a poll. (To follow)

Do you like TOTD Threads or would you rather see a general day thread where people just chat about what they have in store for the day?

I enjoy TOTD threads because it gives a starting point for conversation. :)

I like the TOTD. People don't have to answer the TOTD to participate in the day threads.

It's kind of dreary today with rain in the forecast. We looked at all the newest, latest, improved Christmas lights yesterday.

I married an exterior lighting monster.

TOTD: You're a major Commie for even asking the question.

The TOTD might encourage others to engage in discussion, when they might not post otherwise. (Like someone new to the forum)

Questions that encourage non-political discussion in the lounge is a good thing.

This is a TOTD about TOTD, interesting.

I don't really mind either way.

Day threads are inane, stupid, and they suck.
FFS, we all know it's MONDAY.

I don't like them because most everyone else does and I don't feel very agreeable today.

I used to hate them. Didn't they used to get made without TOTDs? Boring. Now I use them as a Lounge bookmark of sorts. Some of the answers make pretty good blackmail material also.

They're good for the post count, and they do make me ponder things I wouldn't have otherwise. "I don't know. What is my TP of choice?"

I like 'em because they start with whatever the thing is and then just go in all sorts of directions. Some of the funniest stuff I've read here has been in day threads.

Today is Monday?
