The radical Islamist preacher Abu Qatada is to be released on bail within 24 hours, officials say.

A senior judge has signed papers authorising the release of Qatada, previously described as Osama Bin Laden's right-hand man in Europe.

The preacher will be subjected to a 22-hour home curfew and other restrictions on his liberty.

The government is currently appealing against a court decision to block his deportation to Jordan.

You say "with any luck" - apparently his murder is something you look forward to. I think that's in incredibly poor taste.

How closely are they really going to monitor this guy? If there is a way to use him to get to the al Queda network, then, cool, but otherwise, let Jordan have at him.

The overwhelming majority of British people want him and his like deported.

However, our political elite and the "human rights" groups don't.

Under European Union (EU) law, you cannot extradite anyone to countries with the death penalty. Jordan has the death penalty, so we can't extradite him. The EU gets its "human rights" ego kick, a country like Jordan is slapped in the face in its desperate fight against radical Islam, and the British people are "enriched" by the presence of a man who advocates violence, terrorism and the overthrow of Britain.

Hence why many British people are emigrating. If the scum in charge of this country want to protect the Abu Qatada's of this world, they are welcome to him, but don't expect us to stick around.

I actually assumed he meant Bin Laden because of the connection but I suppose he did mean Mr. Hope and Change.

So we're supposed to assume he's just stupid, and not deranged. Great choice.

Reread the Code and see where it makes that exception.

Ooooook!

I don't think we need any posts carrying on about the death of a US Presidential candidate.

Clear??
