No real theme tonight.

I very much enjoyed the all-female performers Jukebox Patriot 45 ran last night. Cool. Some great tunes.

Since it was the ladies last night, I'll start with Men at Work. Land Down Under.

I feel pretty out of place here.

I was listening to Kitaro earlier and I found the the New Age channel on DTV last week.

It's probably time to break the Johnny Cash. :D

Heart of Gold by Neil Young. I can never decide if I like his version better than the Johnny Cash cover, but I'm going with the original here.

Ginger, one of the benefits of being a classic is that you are never out of place.

Sort of the difference between mere fashion and style.

What would you like to hear?

Kitaro....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YO82u7CKj1k&feature=related

Or J Cash doing Leonard Cohen....

Like a fish on a hook
Like a knight in some old fashioned book
I have saved all my ribbons for thee.....

Damn. Just Damn. Really something.

Well, thank you. I can't listen to the clips due to the fact that my audio is configured to support my Collie Porn business but I appreciate the thought. :p

Both are good. I heard the Neil Young first, back when it came out. People may get tired of me saying it, but I Had It On Vinyl....

I still have my old records. Just don't have a record player. Funny how that works.

One more. My My Hey Hey...

Excellent Lurkie.

When I was a kid we lived near Columbus Georgia (where Fort Benning is located). I remember when John Wayne came to Columbus to film the movie The Green Berets.

My folks had the album by Sgt Barry Sadler.

Very nice.

They are so young.

In my work I've talked to three servicement who came back from the war in Iraq severely injured. My heart bleeds for all these young soldiers.

As a nation, we need to do our best for them.
