I actually saw this tour in 1972.

It only partially explains why I am the way I am.

I never saw Alice, but I've heard he had some pretty lively shows. Does anyone remember the tour where a movie starts the show with him running down a street. He then makes his stage entrance by busting out on stage through a split in the movie screen making him look like he was in the film? Innovative...

BC, I'm grateful to Uncle Alice for his influence on you. :D

Those were the days. I never got this album but a friend of mine did, and if I remember correctly, the album cover had a fold out desktop deal, and underneath was a picture of the contents of a school desk.

It was so cool.

I actually got one of the "first releases" where they had a pair of "handi-wipe" panties wrapped around the record.

They soon found out the "handi wipe" panties were not flame resistant and had to stop putting them inside the album.

Cool. We'd listen to it at my buddy's house when his mom wasn't home.

Real forbidden stuff. He kept it 'hidden.' :D

Oh man. Haven't thought of that in years.

I've met Alice a couple of times. My band has played in his bar/restaurant in downtown Phoenix. He's just a really nice guy.

I had the great honour of seeing the first ever reunion of the original Alice Cooper Band (minus Glen Buxton, lead guitarist, because he's dead) a few years ago at Alice's annual Christmas Pudding Charity concert he does every year (I already have tickets for this years).

The next night, I got to meet Michael Bruce and Dennis Dunaway (rhythm guitar and bass), as they came to our gig in Scottsdale. We played "Caught In A Dream" for them.

This is probably my all time favourite Alice song...

We occasionally do this one, we did it on Halloween.

I worked and saved my money for two years to buy a guitar JUST LIKE the one Michael Bruce is playing. Man, I'd kill to have that guitar back today.
