Social media giant Facebook blocked more than two dozen conservative Catholic pages in a 24-hour period, some with millions of followers, saying only they were “suspected of suspicious activities.”

Facebook seemed to target only conservative Catholic pages with a significant following, since almost all had between hundreds of thousands and up to six million followers, according to Catholic News Agency (CNA), which broke the story.

One of the blocked pages called “Fr. Rocky” belonged to a U.S. Catholic priest Fr. Francis J. Hoffman, executive director of Relevant Radio, whose page had 3.5 million likes.

“Catholic and Proud,” an enormously popular page with six million followers, met a similar fate. Page owner Kenneth Alimba of Nigeria told CNA his page was also blocked without explanation. He had another page titled “Holy Mary Mother of God” with some 200,000 Likes that was also removed

I think eventually facebook will fold simply because they have become too involved in peoples business trying to make everyone an idiot and flower child and of course PC. I have friends who have been shut down for a cool off period then allowed back but I think usually it is for bad language and material not appropriate. Not cussing in general if it were that there would be no facebook so they don't patrol the cuss words and just allow butt hurt people to report things, sorta like the local prison snitch. There isn't anything out there that is safe or not snooped on, if your online you are being watched and mostly by our own gestapo or better known as the deep state. They ignored the supreme court's order to stop spying on citizens and are still doing it, by right citizens could arrest all of them and probably hang them and it would be totally legal constitutionally. No one is above the laws of the land not even government officials who are supposed to be following the same laws. Now you might also need to hang a few judges that have made themselves above the laws and constitution but eventually you get down to the good apples. :biggrin-new:

People trusted Facebook when he first created it, and he used that to his advantage. I figured out early on that he targets social Conservatives.
