View Full Version : 3 military contractors indicted in kidnapping at base in Iraq

LAFAYETTE, La. (AP) - Two men who worked for a Nevada-based firm are among three military contractors a federal grand jury has indicted on charges they kidnapped a foreign national at gunpoint while working at an air base in Iraq.

Prosecutors say the three employees of 2 Department of Defense contractors were freed on $100,000 bond last week after pleading not guilty to charges that include conspiracy, kidnapping, assault and witness tampering.

The indicted men were identified as 42-year-old Ronald Broussard of Lafayette, La.; 35-year-old Alan Beaty of Oneida, Tenn.; and 40-year-old Robert Bowlin, Sr., of Brandon, Miss.
