As Mark Twain once famously put it, “a lie can travel halfway around the world while the truth is putting on its shoes” and Time magazine’s deceptive cover picture of President Trump and a crying Honduran two-year-old was quickly dropkicked when it failed to stand up to scrutiny.

While the media and Democrats rushed to exploit the cover for political gain and to incite violence, it was revealed that the entire premise behind the cover was one great big whopping lie.

The child was never separated from her mother, this was verified by her father, the Honduran government, the United States government and the border patrol. It even was acknowledged as a fib by some in the media who at this point have to start seeing how all of the fake news has eroded their credibility.

Time didn’t retract the story but issued a correction along with the type of spin that could be expected from a rag that has degenerated to the point of being on a level with North Korean propaganda.

One story I read stated that she paid $6000 to b smuggled to the United States. $6000 American dollars is approximately 145,000 Honduran Lempira. She came here either to sell her daughter or collect welfare. She didn't need a job an didn't need political asylum.

Isn't she separating a child from a parent ?
