Well, he does have a big body!!! (https://www.thedailybeast.com/michael-moore-we-have-to-put-our-bodies-on-the-line-to-stop-trump)

Matt Wilstein (https://www.thedailybeast.com/author/matt-wilstein)

As the liberal filmmaker (https://www.thedailybeast.com/michael-moore-cant-make-good-propaganda-anymore) told Stephen Colbert on The Late Show Thursday night, that date represents the night Donald Trump was elected president. “This is about how the hell we got in this situation and how we’re going to get out of it,” he said.

After playing a clip from the film in which he tries to infiltrate Mar-a-Lago, Colbert asked him if he was “civil” to the people there. “I was as civil as any Eagle Scout Catholic altar boy could be when confronted with the devil,” Moore answered.

“We don’t have to be violent, we have to remain nonviolent, but if the worst that happens to anybody in the Trump administration is that they don’t get to have a chicken dinner in Virginia, I mean, I don’t know,” he said. If it were just basic political differences, Moore said he would not be in favor of throwing Sarah Huckabee Sanders out of a restaurant (https://www.thedailybeast.com/trumps-roach-infested-restaurants-are-vile-compared-to-the-red-hen).

“But that’s not what’s going on now,” he said. “We’re not talking about political differences. We’re talking about thousands of children being kidnapped and put in jails.”

And he ends with true delusions...

“The majority of Americans are liberal and we the Democrats have won the presidency, popular vote, in six of the last seven presidential elections,” he continued. “The Republicans have only won once since 1988—in 2004, with Bush, that’s the only time they’ve won the popular vote! The country we live in doesn’t want the Republicans in the White House! They don’t want them running this country! We’re the majority!”

LOL!!!

What the hell is going on behind the scenes that they all HATE Trump so much? I don't remember it being this crazy with W. and he got us into this endless "war on terror."

The only line Moore would put his body on would be a buffet line.

There's a Golden Corral in Flint. I wonder how it manages to stay in business. Do they sell MAGA hats at the register so as to scare Moore away?

Nothing's going on behind the scenes is what I'm guessing. After W. was elected to a second term, the left was already at a fever pitch and they just got nastier after that. Then there was eight long years of Obama where they got virtually anything they wanted largely unopposed. That sure didn't help.

As for Moore, he's so transparent it's laughable. What he actually wants is to drive people into getting hurt/locked up so he can film it and cash in on another "documentary".

He doesn't live in Flint. He lives in CA or somewhere Up North-I know he sold his mansion on Torch Lake, but I think he still has a place somewhere in the general Traverse City area.

He was on Bill Maher Friday night saying pretty much the same thing.

It has been nearly TWO years since he won and has been very busy doing his work, making America stronger and better in the process.

Meanwhile Leftists are busy moaning about an election they lawfully lost, demonizing Trump through the various media and being threatening to his staff.

Trump busy building up America, leftists busy tearing down America with their willful ugly behavior.

Thanks for explaining why that Golden Corral is still in business, :biggrin-new: . I don't know whether Golden Corral is in California. I wonder if Michael Moore might have had a fork in Fresh Choice or Hometown Buffet going out of business.

My grandpa used to take me to a Chinese buffet in Traverse City called China Fair. Grandpa had a thing for Asian women and liked to go there and look at the pretty girls who worked there. I would guess that Moore eats there on a regular basis. There are some excellent restaurants for fine dining in the area, Grandpa took me to a few of those, too. But if there is a GC in the Traverse area, I'm guessing it's near the Great Wolf Lodge, which is near the mall.

I can't believe "The Blob" (My nickname for Moore) actually still thinks he's relevant. His last crockumentary, "Where to Invade Next," and his attempted Broadway show both bombed miserably ("Where to Invade Next" opened at 19th place in the box office). Here's hoping this film fails just as badly.

Yep. For all his portraying George W. Bush as a "Draft Dodger" and Republicans as sending kids off to war, he's showing that he's the true "Chicken hawk" in this situation.

You've probably been reading the news... Moore's Traverse City Film-festival is being sued for unpaid bills.

https://www.9and10news.com/2018/07/02/traverse-city-film-festival-faces-lawsuit-over-unpaid-bills/

( funny how that one doesn't mention Moore's name in neither the text nor video )

“It became apparent the festival had overextended,” Cutler said. “The festival’s eyes were a bit bigger than their finances could handle, and we were the people left standing, holding an invoice.”

The festival operated at a loss for the first time last year, founder Michael Moore previously told the Record-Eagle. In an April 2018 email to Friends of the Film Festival, he wrote “We ran a rare deficit last year.”

Moore did not return multiple requests for comment and elaboration on those statements.

Moore is the founder of the festival. I don't know if he has a big role in it recently. It is a cool thing, though. They maintained the old downtown Traverse City theater and they show classic movies, too, mixed in with the indie kind of stuff you can also see at Sundance. Traverse City is a tourist area in the summer, lots of beaches, boating and a beautiful area. The area my Grandpa lived in used to be all cherry farms when I was kid, and is now wine country (the Old Mission Peninsula). It's worth a trip if you are in the area.

1. In fact, contrary to what Moore has bragged, he is not actually from Flint, either. He was born and raised in Davison, which is near Flint geographically, but the similarities end there. While Flint is a working- class town with a large minority population, Davison is an uber- wealthy, lily- white suburb whose residents are often the bosses of the working- class types who live in Flint. Moore just made up that he was from Flint so he could look more like an average joe standing up to those evil rich people.
2. Michael Moore on Bill Maher? Those two men are odious enough individually, I really don't want to know what they're like together.

I wouldn't call Davison an uber-wealthy burb. Lily white, yes, but it's not really wealthy, just standard middle class. I drive through it once in a while when I get a kid placed in a residential program in the thumb area. There's a bar there called "Whitey's", which I find hilarious, but not as hilarious as "The Big Dick Storage Company" in one of the little towns just north of there.
