Too Many Secrets ?
Calling all puter Geeks & Geekettes.
Last night while attempting to run a program Called Defraggler I received the following error MSG:
"Processing abort due to the maximum number of secrets that may be stored in a single system has been exceeded"
Any Idea what that means and/or how to correct the situation ?
AVG detects no virus or bug, same with Spybot S & D.
Share a few with the board and then run it again.
You wear womens underwear.
You have a Hello Kitty backpack.
I have no idea but that's an awesome error message. :D
It appears to be a system error. so far as I know it only affects operation of the Defraggler program & system restore. Google searches have come up with the What may have happened but not the why or how to fix it.

I did see that. Unfortunately,as far as I know, once a thread post has been submitted us mere mortal posters can't edit thread titles.

I googled that phrase and got a lot of hits but didn't understand any of them!
Apparently the "secrets" referred to are encrypted bits of information. For some reason the US Government restricts the number of encrypted pieces of data which can be stored.
I would suggest making sure you have done clean uninstalls of software you have removed, and clearing out the cache on programs, particularly DVD and CD programs.

Thanks Megimoo. I was going to post a querie there but think the problem eminates from a system error moreso than something Defraggler may have cause. My puters regular defrag won't work either.Nor will Error Checking , Chkdsk or System restore.
