Guess I'm getting old, we just called it the Mess Hall or Chow Hall. Oh well I hear the food is better too.

We had Grilled pork steak, Spetzle mit souse, und Kraut. And washed it down with a Ayinger Helles. :D

Do you have any good spetzle recipes? I got some of those noodles last week at the local German deli and SR loved them. Just looking for a different way to cook them. I did something simple, cooked them, then browned some onions and garlic in butter, then mixed in the noodles. Used a bit of salt and pepper.
