We were lucky that most of the touchdowns were in thinly populated areas. When you get out of the cities there are blocks of several square miles with nothing but cattle, the Joplin Tornado was the worst possible scenario.

Tinker AFB reported 72kts of wind, 1.5" hail, and had visibility down to less then 1/4 of a mile. I'm damn well willing to bet they got hit as well, they just couldn't see it.Quote:

tornado warning for Kansas city, mo. sirens going off down there and here as well. 2 twisters on the ground headed my way. im going downstairs
