I have a friend who has a portable AT&T satellite receiver. She is constantly losing the connection. More off, than on it would seem.

The unlimited wireless ISP's will throttle you back if they think you are using too much bandwidth, they may say they are unlimited but that is a lie. Some of them will even cancel you without warning(T-Mobile).
yeppers,that exactly what they did. I've been doing some serious downloading of Late. Got into a couple old series, The Legend of Seeker & The Vampire Diaries. Actually it's only while i'm downloading that things come to a crawl.Quote:

I had T-Mobile unlimited wireless after the satellite. I got 60kbs download speeds when they had advertised 300kbs. They kept blocking me from going to CU and the firearms forum saying it was undesirable content,I kept going into my settings and unblocking them so they cancelled me with no notice saying my usage was to high on an unlimited account.
