It's actually a big deal for a number of reasons. First, as somebody who spent a major chunk of my life serving in the defense of the United States, I don't appreciate seeing the DNC give props to our enemies. Given the overt sympathies that more than a few Dems had for the Soviets (and the disdain that they had for us), I find it insulting. If they can't tell who the good guys are, it may be because they were on the wrong side. Second, it's sloppy staff work. At that level, you don't want to do anything to embarrass the campaign. Screwing over your boss because you're too lazy to check the footage, twice, is the kind of incompetence that we've come to expect from the Obama staff.
