Sometimes when I come to CU everything loads fast & fine until it gets to tag.contextweb.com. Then it hangs and doesn't load the page.

Sometimes when I come to CU everything loads fast & fine until it gets to tag.contextweb.com. Then it hangs and doesn't load the page.
I have the same problem sometimes when it gets to the facebook part, there is so much stuff it loads anymore I have no idea what all it has to load.
I was wondering what was going on. It locks up and I have to drop out of IE and restart it.
It appears that the source server for some of the ads gets to running slow and it effects the load time of the pages here because they can't be completely rendered without the content that the ad site is providing...
This is simply a guess.
I'll inquire about it...
I'm seeing the same thing happening (to me at least) on other sites that use the same type of advertising like yahoo and the Conservative Cave.
The Ad company says nothing has been reported or seen. Oh well...:rolleyes:
I've tried on more then one computer and I have the same issues.
It seems like the ads time out and then the page won't load.
It results in less posting and reading here, my hair is too short to pull out! :evil-grin:
It's hitting me but mostly later in the evening and I've attributed it to overload on the neighborhood DSL supplier.
That could be a factor. I work different shifts and it even hits me in the middle of the night.Quote:
