I think it's inevitable that the blind sheikh will be released in light of the fact that the youngest AQ terrorist that was in Gitmo was just sent back to Canada. He was 15 when he was first locked up.

He was 15 when caught? He might have been cooperative in interrogation. Considering who his father was, he might have had some very valuable information. The release might be a reward for his cooperation, for all we know.
There is a big difference between letting a guy who was 15 when apprehended go after 11 years and letting the mastermind of the first WTC attack free. Every single official has flatly denied that there are any plans to let the blind sheik go free.
