Breast feeding in public

My sister breast fed her daughter in our front yard while her husband was off to the Korean War. I don't see anything wrong with it.

Babies have to eat and they do it on their time table. I see nothing wrong with public breastfeeding as long as it's done without making a major production to it as to draw attention.
