Yeah, but what about the "you broke it, you bought it policy." Western powers been screwing up the middle east since WWI. The Taliban is actually kinda sorta a US invention to fight the Russians in the late 1970s (thank you Jimmy Carter). We wanted to give Russia "their own Vietnam."
