Did you see the slo mo of the broken bat double he hit? The bat made contact with the ball 3 TIMES, which put a spin on the ball that faked out the Cardinal shortstop. Never seen anything like that before.Quote:

Yeah, Tigers have a problem with choking at the WS it seems...
The week they had off between the ALCS and the World Series is what's hurting them....well that and The Giants' superior defense and pitching. I was actually glad both of the series the Giants played in went the distance. It meant they were able to stay in their normal routine from the regular season and keep sharp by playing games that actually mean something and not the BS inter-squad games the Tigers played to keep busy.
AND THAT'S THE SWEEP!!!!!!!!
If the Tigers had played all series like they did last night, it would have been a less dissapointing sweep, but they really only showed up to one game, and by that point it didn't really matter anyways.
