The top tool with the wooden handle reminded me of what my grandmother used to use to open and shut the hot parts of her old cook stove.

D***! I shoulda known that one. I spent a year cleaning those rascals one summer and darn near killed myself with cleaning fumes.
We were just using ordinary screwdrivers etc. No special equipment.
