Just 3 people voted NO...
No surprise. Fortunately he'll have no real power so it's not a total loss.
Not to brag but my senator Inhofe voted against him.
Did I mention a real conservative Senator James Inhofe voted against him?
What an absolute flaming insult to everything thats decent about this country. The anti-american, far left, kook fringe has virtually all the levers of power and the repukes double down ... once again! If it never was, the Republican party is now officially the party of cowards, save but 3? I had no idea that kneepads Boehner could infect the whole lot of them like that. Just throw in the towel and turn 'ol Ironsides (the nation) into the Titanic (metaphorically speaking).Quote:
Obama's choice of five-term Sen. John F'n Kerry to be secretary of state, with Republicans and Democrats praising him as the ideal successor to Hillary Rotten Clinton. The vote Tuesday was 94-3.
So thats it. We have the socialist/ marxist party and/ or we have the party of cowards. Great, what a 'choice'! I want the name of every one of those slime ball cowards. Midterms are coming again soon ...
Texas Sens. John Cornyn, Ted Cruz and Oklahoma Sen. Jim Inhofe voted No.
Well...maybe now he can get his wish and deliver the terms of our surrender to the NVA.
Yes. He and his side kick, Jane Fonda shall have the power and influence of the State Dept to surrender over and over around the world on our behalf.
What a slap in the face.
But of course they confirmed J F'n Kerry. The federal boys club always look out for their own.
I guess that I shouldn't be surprised. Any senator who votes against another member of the senate would end up having it haunt him if he were to be up for a similar job. That really seems to be the main consideration for most of them. We really need to go back to having the state legislatures pick their senators.
