Have been busy all day, and am in a giddy mood, so will have a go at #2.

2. TIME AFTER TIME

After a power surge disrupted all the electronic devices in Brian's house, he had to go over to Amy's to find out what time it is. After she told him, Brian walked home and set all of his clocks. Even though Brian didn't know how long it had taken him to get home, he was able to set his clocks to exactly the right time. How?

Answer: Since Brian is rather young, and the horological watch given to him by his grandfather, whom he loves, and only wears it to please the dear old gentleman ...

Brian hasn't a clue as to how to tell the time by it.

So ... he walks home, finds out the power is back on again, tunes in his TV to Fox News Channel, glances down to the bottom left hand side of the screen and resets all his devices.

Within 5 minutes, the power goes off yet again ... Amy is not home, the TV goes off, and poor Brian is left to ...
