There's two things about that ad.

    1. It could be a copy of Hinge's super bowl ad where they killed their mascot.

    2. It could be a means to update their image, as Mr. Peanut is seen as a rich capitalist with a top hat, cane, and monocle.

    3. Could be a way to promote Roasted Peanuts. He does die in a fiery blast.

    So far quite entertaining.
It's not how old you are, it's how you got here.
It's been a long road and not all of it was paved.

Sports news says this morning the nfl will be testing a no kickoff rule for the pro bowl, leading up to a no kicking game for the future. Not exactly the football I played as a kid. Why don't they just go to rag tag and be done with it, as if the idiot that started the kneeling didn't do enough damage. The nfl is not football any more so why do people continue to watch it. I guess they have been hiring a lot of canadian people

I know there's a big Twitter campaign memorializing Mr. Peanut Anymore, I can see #2 being the endgame.

Just wait for the under 13 backlash! “You murdered him!”

Mr. Peanut is going to die, but pretzel mascot Mr. Salty still lives! I used to get the confused when I was little.

I feel that any Super Bowl ad for Anheuser Busch that doesn't involve the Budweiser horses is a waste of time. I want to see how they and their dog friend are doing!

I have yet to see a Super Bowl ad that was as good as the GI Joe/Girl, You Really Got Me Going ad for the Japanese cars about 20 years ago.
