    Watching a youtube video of Kimberley Strassel being interviewed. One statistic that I found astonishing was the sheer size of the Federal Register of federal rules and regulations:

    90,000 pages when Obama left office.

    60,000 pages after one year of the Trump administration.

    No wonder the Deep State is and the economy is

    The United States Navy, fighting Moslem barbarians since 1801.

    It doesn't mean as much as it sounds like. The FR is just a daily journal of regulatory action, including notice of pending regs, public comment received on them (Which appears in summarized form), and notice of final action. The stuff that actually becomes permanent goes in the Code of Federal Regulation (CFR) which is the real measure of regulatory bullshit.
