People who would vote against President Donald Trump in November are "decent" and "cherish the values of this country," Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) told "Jimmy Kimmel Live" Monday night.

But Trump supporters? "The demographic that supports him is an older and dying, literally dying, demographic."

Schiff (D-Calif.), the chairman of the House intelligence committee, continues to push the impeachment line, for the sake of defending our democracy, he says.

Kimmel asked Schiff, "Other than removing him from office, what can we do?"

"Well, we can remove him from office. I mean, that's the main thing," Schiff said (as the audience cheered).
