I have two rules when it comes to investing... Never panic buy, and never panic sell. I could make the entire world rich by doing the exact opposite of what I do.

    You guys watching this.

DOW futures hit the down 5% mark and had a 15 minute time out. Sitting at 4.75% as of this writing.

Gold is over 1700. 3 month and 10 year in the .04's.

I'm mostly sitting tight. Thinking long term. I did see this coming though and pulled a chunk out of equities and into cash. I was sick of being stuck riding the market down with no free cash to use for bargain hunting at the lows. I honestly don't think the market has finished dropping yet. We still could have quite a ways to go.  It all depends on what happens with this Covid 19 virus. If it turns out to be limited in its impact, then things will likely turn on the traditional drivers and the market should recover to a large degree, but... Well, who knows how bad it can get if this virus turns out to be a huge problem in terms of economic impact.

Yup, was just going to post this. And thanks for doing so. Hopefully all will calm down by morning.

Is this the cake or just the frosting?

Iím riding it out. Iíve got a cash flow good for another two years, I think covid-19 will taper off towards summer but itís going to be some time to ramp China back up so two years sounds fair for now.

The whole things blown so far out of proportion as to be reallydiculous.
