"There's ventilators but we're holding them back for the surge."

I'm watching late tonite on MSNBC.

I can't bear the stupidity. Had a horrid day personally Monday and it took a toll.

    😭

Democrats DEMAND that they get everything they ask for, even if it is more than their fair share. It isn't even that they are currently short of ventilators. New York isn't even using the 4,000 ventilators they received from the government storehouse. But they want MORE ANYWAY.

They want all of the ventilators so that there aren't any for other states that have not yet asked for them or that have asked for only a few. They want to hoard them.

And they want to create a fake meme that they aren't getting anything from the federal government...... and they want to cover up how incompetent and inept DEMOCRATS ALWAYS ARE in the face of an emergency. It's ALWAYS - the GOVERNMENT OWES ME, THEY HAVE TO FIX IT BECAUSE WE'RE ENTITLED.
OBAMA'S H1N1 VIRUS: From April 12, 2009 to April 10, 2010, CDC estimated there were 60.8 million cases (range: 43.3-89.3 million), 274,304 hospitalizations (range: 195,086-402,719), and 12,469 deaths (range: 8868-18,306) in the United States due to the (H1N1)pdm09 virus.

Very logical policy. Trump has made it clear (correctly) that if they give a state more ventilators than they need then it will be impossible to get them back at a later date and reallocated to a state where they're more needed.

Was that said by Trump? Or by Goobernor Cumo, admitting that the ventilators the Feds had sent were sitting in a stockpile until they were actually needed?

Which makes more sense? Sending currently scarce ventilators to whichever governors and mayors make the most media noise? Or retaining them in distributed storage locations from which they can be sent where needed? Just like grocery store chains do. Just like stores like Walmart and Costco do. Just like Amazon does.
