The P-51 is good for over 500 kts but I didn't think that an F-15 could go slow enough for an A-10 to keep up !Originally Posted by patriot45

I think the A10 is probably my favorite aircraft of all time.

Hard not to like the A-10. It beautiful in it's own ugly but deadly sort of way. Also it can take one hell of a pounding and still bring a pilot back safe. Plus how can you not like an aircraft built around a 30mm gatling gun.

Exactly.
Every time I see that commercial with the woman setting down a faucet and asking the architect to "build a house around this," I imagine that is what it was like with the A-10 program :D

Lol, I think they were taken from a blimp. There are actually about 10 more but these were the best!
This is the last one in photobucket, I have the rest at work. As an aside, My wife, Robin is going to N.Y next year with me for my nephews wedding, she has never been past the Macon county line!! All my relatives are telling her not to keep staring up or she will be pegged as a tourist!
