You lucky dog! Iím happily envious of you. Regretfully, I never got to see them live.

I expect youíve heard this before. It popped into my mind while listening to your Al Stewart number:

I haven't heard it before, but I like it a lot. Thanks. -Has a Turtles vibe. Or Flo & Eddie.

Heh. Had to blow the dust off this one, although I do have the album. The first time I heard this song, I thought I was listening to Yes. This is for you, our prog-rock maestro:

    Amen.

Thank-you, sir. Yes, very does sound like Yes... 'Yours Is No Disgrace', or something. I wonder why Flash faded... There were a handful of groups that followed the formula... alto-vocals, synthesizer-weavings, multi-pedal guitar phases, fantasy-themed lyrics...

Starcadtle? Dayum. They were GOOD. Thanks.

I have this album. The band is essentially a Skynyrd offshoot after the horrible plane crash. This song has aged well:

    Amen.

Agree. It's gotten better with age. They were doing their part, dragging us out of the disco-swamp. I remember the Skynyd-connection and it's a little clearer now, that the Skynyrd-sound was flowing in the direction that R-C was showing. -Not to take anything away from .38-Special.

Meanwhile, I wish Elvis' sound would've continued flowing in this direction:

One billy band deserves another billy band. I donít have any of the Revís recordings, but this video is a hoot:
