    What you're describing is not a "submission ring."

    A submission ring is a piercing through which a lead or a leash is attached. It gives the "dom" further control over the "sub" compared to a collar & leash. The "sub" can't take off the ring, it's part of their skin, reinforcing that the "dom" has control over them at all times. A collar can be taken off, ending the fantasy.
