I know that some do but they also learn how to do it - something I doubt Mr. Gothic Kitten Guy did. Removing dewclaws is a little different from installing useless hardware.

No, not really. I see the whole human piercing thing as another symptom of look-at-me sexual deviance. So, it's distasteful to see a human sexual fetish imposed on a pet.

so then the objection is superficial - your real objection is to the whole concept of piercings rather than the armature surgery aspect.
