I haven't started watching any episodes of 24 yet ( I know, I suck) but I'm thinking of picking up some of the seasons on DVD. Are they all inner connected where I have to start with season 1, or are they independent? I heard the later seasons are way better, particularly season 5.

It's best to start at the beginning. I don't know about the later seasons being better. I loved all the earlier ones.

Watch them in order. Characters are developed over time and threads from one season impact the plot lines in other seasons. ;)

I started watching last night, based on your good word on it. Damn, what a show! I'm addicted now; it's 920 PM and I SHOULD be sleeping now but I can't leave....I'm on episode 23 and the 1st season is almost over.

One minor gripe though: Why the hell did they cast Dennis Hopper as Victor Drazen? His faux accent is driving me nuts! Who thought he'd be able to pull off sounding like a guy from the dismal side of the Iron Curtan? It irks me.

Other than that, this show kicks arse. Bauer for President.

LOL.:p Sherry didn't bother me so much. I wanted to strangle Kim halfway through the first season. She just gets worse next season. You're right about Hopper too. Total miscasting there.

Oh man, she gets worse? Damn it. She was kind of annoying during the whole capture/recapture stuff but at the end when she escaped she was kinda tough so I thought that was cool. Plus she's attractive, so that's good.

I just can't believe they killed teri. She was one of my favorite characters. :(
