    The wife and I went to the movies and saw this, the movie had a great message. I highly recommend this for you and your significant other to watch together.
    I feel that once a black fella has referred to white foks as "honky paleface devil white-trash cracker redneck Caspers," he's abdicated the right to get upset about the "N" word. But that's just me. -- Jim Goad

    The wife and I saw this at the also ran theater a couple of weeks ago. It's worth buying if for no other reason than supporting a decent Christian movie. Not perfect, still a little cheesy in some spots but well worth the watch.

    Is this the movie in which all the cast was unpaid volunteers?

    Kirk Cameron's real wife was flow in to be a double for the actress in the "kissing" scene.

    I also read that Ken Bevel who plays the part of the Lt. Michael Simmons of the Fire Dept is a Captain in the Marines and has served for 18 years.

    Looks like it would be worth watching.
