I have a busy day ahead of me, so I'm getting the Friday thread up early and not feeling too creative about it.

At a few minutes before six, it's dark in Washington.

    TOTD: Steelers or Cardinals?

Since my husband's from Pittsburgh, no question. "Stillers" it is!

    Definitely "Stillers" - here's a great story:

For Terrible Towels, a Wonderful Legacy
    http://www.nytimes.com/2009/01/30/sp...l.html?_r=1&hp

"Myron Cope left behind something far more personal than a legacy of terrycloth, a battle flag for a city and its team. In 1996, he handed over the trademark to the Terrible Towel to the Allegheny Valley School. It is a network of campuses and group homes across Pennsylvania for people with severe intellectual and developmental disabilities. It receives almost all the profits from sales of the towels."

A normal day weather wise per historical averages for this time of year. High in the mid to upper 50's.

I think the Steelers will win, probably easily. I'm thinking 27-10 or so.

    Good morning, and happy Friday!

TOTD: I really don't care who wins, I just want the score to match the numbers I have in the office pool :p

This really is totally unfair. I figured I had an easy TOTD for this Sunday. Thanks for ruining it for me Linda :(

I think I'll probably root for the Steelers. No real reason other than I lived in Pennsylvania for a few years.

It's a big enough topic to share. Why don't you do something more esoteric, like "call the point spread"? :p

We're warming up! The weekend should be beautiful.

TOTD: Since the Broncos are not involved, I don't have an answer. I only watch the Super Bowl when the Broncos have been in it.

So, I have graciously declined an invite to my BFF's amazing Super Bowl party and I'll be skiing instead. Mr. Snaps doesn't follow football.
