I have no idea if this story is true but I can tell you from personal experience that the vast majority of the Sunday church crowd are shitty tippers.

The anecdote from the pastor on his web site is true. Is the story true? I dunno.

I grew up around Sabbath-keepers and none of them ever so much as filled up a tank of gas on Sunday unless somebody was dying. They certainly never engaged in any retail commerce outside of emergencies (brunch is not an emergency).

When they had to do business on Sunday, they paid their way in an ordinary fashion.

In areas of Utah and parts of Wyoming and Colorado, this Sabbath-keeping experience is common. Retailers deal with it. Restaurants close on Sunday. It's not a problem. Everybody gets a day off. I don't know how others handle it but if you really observe the Sabbath, you just wouldn't buy brunch.

    Perhaps it was the service...

It's a lie on the surface because one would have to assume that these "Church goers" were SOOOO devout as to observe the Sabbath by patronizing a restaurant while simultaneously insulting the waitress. This is yet another lie from the basement of DUmmy with a fevered brain.

Unfortunately, there are church goers who can doublethink with the best libs, so there may be some credibility to the story. Still, for anyone at the DUmp to be shouting hypocrisy is rather....well.....hypocritical.
