In a brazen threadjack, I've actually been there. It is spelled Hameln. The town is along the Fairie Tale Road that the Brothers Grimm were supposed to have traveled and got their inspiration for several of their stories. On a wall of a building there is a clock that has an action of the rats being led out followed by the children.
