Eluana Englaro Dies After Four Days of Starvation in Euthanasia Death

Rome, Italy -- After an international debate over whether she should be subjected to a painful starvation and dehydration death, Eluana Englaro has died. The disabled woman had been in a minimally conscious state since 1992, when she was involved in an automobile accident. http://www.lifenews.com/bio2739.html

At least when it's euthanasia the individual gets to decide, and their death usually takes less than 4 days.

    Starvation? Or dehydration?

Ever read a description of death by dehydration?

In actual dollars, President Obama’s $4.4 trillion in deficit spending in just three years is 37 percent higher than the previous record of $3.2 trillion (held by President George W. Bush) in deficit spending for an entire presidency. It’s no small feat to demolish an 8-year record in just 3 years.

Under Obama’s own projections, interest payments on the debt are on course to triple from 2010 (his first budgetary year) to 2018, climbing from $196 billion to $685 billion annually.

Dehydration will kill you a lot faster than starvation. With water she would likely have lasted a lot longer than 4 days. I think it's possible to live 2-3 weeks without food but less than a week without water.

Better to die on your feet than live on your knees.
