It's been a fairly unusual weekend, at least weather-wise. We got snow on Friday, but yesterday it had started melting, but since we had received about 5", we now have just a bunch of slush. Today looks to be about the same as yesterday, mid-40s and snow melt.

I've always enjoyed reading, and I always have a book that I'm getting through. With the recent election of The One, I decided to finally pick up Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged. So far it is a very enjoyable, and very relevant, read.

TOTD: What are you reading now? If nothing, are there any books you've been interested in, but never got around to reading?

I woke up early and should still be sleeping. :)

TOTD: I just put down a text book that I am reading for a work related certification. It's actually pretty interesting.

Chilly morning here but the snow is incrementally melting off.

I'm reading a book about the Battle Of Leyte Gulf during WWII.

Chilly and sunny here. Seafood lasagne for Sunday dinner this noon.

TOTD: I've started the second volume of "The Emergence of Lincoln", by Allan Nevins (1956). It covers the period 1859-1861.

Begrudgingly getting back to reading notes from my microbiology course. I've been slacking on this for a week now.

It's gloomy here today. I was going to clean my fridge but I think I'll go shopping instead.

TOTD: I just started Anne Easter Smith's new book. It does involve a Tudor (ugh) but there are enough Plantagenets to make it worth my while.:)

TOTD: Just finished, laugh out loud, Nuclear Jellyfish by Tim Dorsey! They should make movies out of his books!

This is not heavy reading! :D

    Overcast but nice temperature wise.

TOTD: Currently reading "Christian Spirituallity" edited by John R. Tyson.
For we are to God the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing.
To the one we are the smell of death; to the other, the fragrance of life. And who is equal to such a task?”
