Where the $200,000+ Crowd Lives-- The liberal states most affected by the tax hike

The White House's budget for fiscal year 2010 calls for tax hikes on wealthy Americans. In this case, that means couples making over $250,000 a year and individuals $200,000 a year. Under the budget plan, these households (about 3 percent of the total) would experience tax increases of $318 billion over the next 10 years. Here's a look at the states that will be most affected by the tax hike and how they voted in the last presidential election.

I’d be curious as to what percentage of the over-$200K households voted for the socialist.According to cnn...it was 52% Obama, 46% McCain, 2% other (source:http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2008/results/polls/#USP00p1)

Interesting numbers. Do we know where the often repeated numbers of ‘only the top 2% of workers in America earn over $250,000. per year’ comes from? Not one of those states had the numbers at 2%..they were all higher with the lowest being 3.8%.
