Rush ripped Steele as a joke... I think it should be pretty obvious why Steele was picked by the bosses to lead the RNC. Does the GOP need a "hip hop makeover" or does it need to get serious about opposing the biggest socialist threat since FDR?

    Who do you side with?

    Rush, by a landslide.

The current crop of "Republicans", particularly in the Senate are jellyfish...no spine, no balls.

    Ditto!

I kinda stopped listening to Rush for a few years, but I think he's ready to really start making some noise. He's said some tough stuff recently that I wouldn't have expected. To me, guys like Sean Hannity are way, way too "neocon" in their views, and Rush was sorta in that category... but who knows what he'll do with Obama in the White House.

At least Limbaugh acts like he has a pair, unlike Steele who showed himself a pansy, just like the rest of the Party leadership. I am a conservative first, not a Republican. I have more dignity that to list my name with those who had the Washington whip-hand for years and did nothing constitutional conservatives believe needs to be done.
I am old. I am retired. I am a combat veteran. I am grouchy. I am intolerant, and I am judgemental. I am also alive. Thank you. I am off to the range.

G.O.P. Apologizes to Limbaugh in Flap Over His Role
    By Adam Nagourney
The new chairman of the Republican National Committee, Michael Steele, apologized to Rush Limbaugh on Monday after describing him in a television interview over the weekend as an “entertainer” who made incendiary and sometimes ugly remarks, party officials said.

Mr. Steele called Mr. Limbaugh after the radio host belittled Mr. Steele on his show, questioning his authority and saying the new Republican leader was off “to a shaky start.”

“It’s time, Mr. Steele, for you to go behind the scenes and start doing the work that you were elected to do instead of trying to be some talking head media star, which you’re having a tough time pulling off,” Mr. Limbaugh said, in a transcript of his remarks he posted on his Web site.

Steele loses if he goes against Rush, as he should. Steele is not gun rights friendly and is too much of an appeaser, he amounts to an effort by the GOP to reach out to minorities. We all saw how well that worked. 40+ years of destructive democrat policies have apparently failed to impart a lesson of why minorities should oppose the Dem party. Ironically IIRC the GOP came to relevance because of support from blacks.
