Im pissed about his FISA stance too; but hes gotta get elected and McCain would tear him apart if he still tried to block it.

So I went to your source Fivethirtyeight.com.

On the sidebar it has results by state If you subtract NH the avg Obama numbers for New England are 96.6%. !!. I know you're young and stupid, but do you really trust numbers like that.

VT is 99% Obama/ 1% McCain. I live in this socialist hellhole and I'll gurantee you that more than 6,000 (1%) of us will be voting McCain. One of our wiser members pointed out to you that polls in the summer of 1984 showed Mondale ahead of Reagan. How'd that one turn out.

Those arent popular vote percentages, its an indication of how likely he is to win the state. Basically 99/100 scenarios place Obama as the victor in VT. That kind of shit can be confusing so I see where you're coming from.

Far more American's are for Obama's original stance on the issue...so it's a collossal msitake to think McCain has the high moral ground on this. There are alot of conservatives pissed off about the Patriot act and the threats it's posed to civil liberties.

what makes this so disgusting is that Obama is getting so much support from people like you....That lesser of two evils crap is pathetic. If you don't vote on principle you just continue the game.

To far out. I personally think both candidates suck and I don't plan on casting my vote for either but so much can change good and bad for candidates in only a weeks time that numbers now don't mean much no matter who they look good or bad for.

I stand corrected. I would agree unfortunately that 99% probability that Obama takes VT. I'm glad we only have 3 electoral votes. I'm not sure about 80% in NH . NH loves McCain. I'd put it closer to 50/50

I agree about NH and to the same extent FL. I dont think FL is really tied right now... McCain should be (and probably is) winning there, I mean look at the margins in the past that are all +10 for McCain and suddenly after the Democrats take away half their delegates Obama makes a jump? Yeah right.

FL and NH are the two states I'm not trusting the polls are on just yet.

But you trust ever other one as long as it shows ohbuttfuck leading.....

Iget so tired of hearing about who is "winning". Nobody is "winning" right now. The whole shabang is in November. I understand what is meant, but for some reason the whole "winning" thing bothers me. Polls don't mean shit, they are just there to sway voters. A left leaning poll will show Obama "winning" so people will want to be on the "winning" team. Same thing goes for right leaning polls. EVERYONE HAS AN AGENDA. Remember that. Gallup has them neck and neck, which is probably closer to the truth. All these polls between now and November are a complete waste of time.
