  1. #1 Baking Bread.
I usually make bread once a week. During the fall and winter, I make sour dough bread from a starter. I felt vaguely spring-ish today so I decided to make honey wheat bread instead. I use a Mennonite recipe.

What kinds of breads do you normally make? If you don't bake, why not? It's pretty easy.

I don't bake. I leave that to my sister who is completely AWESOME when it comes to baking . . . . For me - when I bake - it tends to always come out wrong. :( So I stick to cooking. :) Besides - I don't have much of a sweet tooth anyhow. :p

I make sticky buns, dinner rolls, that sort of thing more often than I do loaf bread.

I usually make a white loaf, using a Canadian strong white flour. It is easy and quick to make and always reliable.

I have made Sourbratten and Red Cabbage with potato dumplings .For dinner in the summer the occasional Bayrischer Kartoffelsala*(Bravarian potato salad ) with baked ham !

I can bake almost anything...except bread. I don't know why, other yeast things like cinnamon rolls come out fine, but I've never really gotten the hang of bread. I've tried probably 30 different recipes, white, wheat, honey wheat...none were very good. :(:(

In actual dollars, President Obama’s $4.4 trillion in deficit spending in just three years is 37 percent higher than the previous record of $3.2 trillion (held by President George W. Bush) in deficit spending for an entire presidency. It’s no small feat to demolish an 8-year record in just 3 years.

Under Obama’s own projections, interest payments on the debt are on course to triple from 2010 (his first budgetary year) to 2018, climbing from $196 billion to $685 billion annually.
