What happened to O'Reilly? Is he for real?
OíReilly: We Want Obama to Succeed
Do you want Obama to fail?
No. We want him to succeed. We want to persuade him that perhaps some of his policies are not going to help him succeed.
What about all this talk of socialism? Isnít that a little premature, since this bailout was started by the Bush administration?
Iíve never bought into the fact that Barack Obama is a socialist. I think heís a classic liberal that believes that big government can solve the problems of society, and he wants to redistribute income. I donít think heís a socialist. I donít think he wants to seize peopleís property. But I do think heís a classic committed liberal.
Do you think the socialist argument being advanced by the right-wing pundits is effective?
It raises questions about how far the government is going to be able to go in its pursuit of social engineering. So I think itís worthy in that regard. Youíre reminding people that there is a difference between the United States and Sweden. To call these people Communists and socialists, thatís as nutty as the far left calling people fascists and all of that. Itís the same kind of craziness.
Not a socialist or Communist??
Look, Bill, just because you went to the JFK School of Government at Harvard and got a masters in Public Administration, doesn't mean you can tell us we don't know what those words actually mean. We know what they mean. They mean what Sean Hannity says they mean!!

Most is just blowing his own horn, but that is Bill!
However, I do not want Obama to fail. I want him to see the light. This is a great country because most of its citizens are responsible, hardworking people who realize that cradle-to-grave entitlements will ultimately bankrupt the nation. Call me crazy, but I want to persuade the ultra-intelligent president that his Swedish-entitlements vision for 300 million Americans is an opium-fueled pipe dream. Self-reliance has made this country great, not federal foot massages.
I will consistently deliver that message to the president, Nancy Pelosi, Barney Frank, Harry Reid and the rest of the gang who couldn't spend straight. I'll do that hoping the Democrats will wise up and impose some discipline in the fiscal area. If they do not control federal spending, they will suffer big losses in the congressional races just a year and a half from now.
:Do not take life too seriously. You will never get out of it alive.
Ē I wondered why the rock was getting larger. Then it hit me.

O'Reilly is a center-right guy and you can't really knock him for given his opinion. I don't always agree with him, but he doesn't spout out talking points and BS like the nuts on the left. You need to watch his show...you might learn something if that's possible.
