    Potato & Green Bean Salad

    Meditteranean way...

Boil them together till they are done.

Strain, peel skin off the potatoes.

Chop and place in a bowl.

While still hot, add lemon juice, olive oil, S & P, garlic ( powdered), oregano.

    Mix,

Add 1 table spoon of Mayo

    Mix.

    Serve room temperature.:D

Ribs. Ribs are always a good side at any BBQ.
"In England a king hath little more to do than to make war and give away places; which in plain terms, is to impoverish the nation and set it together by the ears. A pretty business indeed for a man to be allowed eight hundred thousand sterling a year for, and worshipped into the bargain! Of more worth is one honest man to society and in the sight of God, than all the crowned ruffians that ever lived."

    Slaw.....

Use the food processor or chopper and finely....and I mean finely...chop a medium head of cabbage.

Finely chop about 1/3 of a sweet onion and about 1/2 a medium carrot.

    Mix.

Add 1/3 cup sweet pickle relish.

    1 tablespoon sugar

    Salt and Pepper to taste

Use enough MAYONAISE to bring it all together.

Mix well and chill. Let sit a couple of hours to come together.

I used these ingredients and made slaw for a really good bar-b-que restaurant for many years. The proportions are similar but the ingredients are the same. I used a 30 pound bag of cabbage at a time. Hobart chopper. Good times. I miss you Papa....

Serve it fresh. Day old slaw is okay, but same day is best.

    Happy fourth you guys.....

    ......and extra bacon....:p

(like this http://www.grouprecipes.com/16870/7-layer-salad.html but I use mayo, not salad dressing)
