    Yep, I've got both and the longer version is better. While not flu-related, I actually prefer "Swan Song" by Robert McCammon for my taste of TEOTWAWKI but to each their own. Both books are excellent. McCammon has a more decided take on evil. King has a more class take on it (i.e., the geeks are Satanic).

    Read 'em both!
