Congrats. I greytly admire your will power. I'm still sitting here gasping for breath after 5 days with a bunch of smokers puffing away. Going to the doc Friday, 2nd time in 2 weeks, to assess the damage to my lungs. (In fairness I have a pulmonary problem and it wasn't SR's puffing away that did this to me).
I don't think smokers truly understand the damage their habit can do to others. The doc said the 2nd hand smoke is very harmful, particularly to those with asthma, COPD, and other pulmonary problems. Another doc told me the other night that the residual smoke in a house, stuff that gets into the upholstery and into a car where there's been smoking, is even more dangerous than the actual smoke.
So it's nonsmoking rooms for me in hotels, etc and won't willingly ride in a car where there's been smoking.
42 days tomorrow.
Thank God. (That it gets easier, lol.)
You still have the late summer early fall grass fires to look forward to. It's not tobacco but it's better than nothing.
Try these. I have been using them for years. It will make it easier!
