Dont underestimate Obama's staff... that whole change schtick they pulled (I've been a Barack Obama supporter since the Convention in 04) was absolutely brilliant. They took Obama's one real glaring weakness (expeirience) and turned it into a strength.

Whats telling here is that he is leaving his church because of politics, not because of theology. The theology of racism, of class warfare and of victimization played well for 20 years. But now? Not so much.
