Hey, good to see you again too Sonna! ;)

One might consider practicing and preaching good works part of their theology. Commentary on politics, however, generally isn't.

'tis amazing how a pattern of at best much farther to the left than he's trying to sell himself as, to at worst plainly Anti-American associations Obama has kept. All voluntary associations BTW.

Damn, I guess I'm just being racist.

    Too little - too late.

All McCain has to do is maintain a heart beat.
At Coretta Scott King's funeral in early 2006, Ethel Kennedy, the widow of Robert Kennedy, leaned over to him and whispered, "The torch is being passed to you." "A chill went up my spine," Obama told an aide. (Newsweek)

Nah. McCain will still manage to lose. He'll have to work hard at it...but he'll manage.

Dont underestimate Obama's staff... that whole change schtick they pulled (I've been a Barack Obama supporter since the Convention in 04) was absolutely brilliant. They took Obama's one real glaring weakness (expeirience) and turned it into a strength.

Cut & run is exactly what he will do in Iraq. If elected Prez, he will be a bigger whimp and appeaser than Carter.

Don't under estimate the power of Negro block voting, especially in the South.

Whats telling here is that he is leaving his church because of politics, not because of theology. The theology of racism, of class warfare and of victimization played well for 20 years. But now? Not so much.
