I wanted something a little different for pork chops and I cooked it in a little tomato sauce, very tasty!
It was too damn hot to go out and bbq!

1/2 small onion, thinly sliced
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tablespoon butter or stick margarine
4 bone-in pork loin chops, trimmed ( for you sharp eyes, I used 5)
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
1/4 cup dry white wine or chicken broth
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/8 teaspoon pepper

This is the directions out of the book, I did it backwards. I browned the chops, took them out and sauteed the veggies, took them out replced the chops and put the veggies on top and poured in the liquid. I also seasoned the chops with everglades seasoning.

1.In a large nonstick skillet, saute onion and garlic in butter until tender. add pork chops; brown on both sides. In a small bowl, combine the tomato sauce, wine or broth, oregano and pepper; pour over chops. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 10-15 minutes or until tender.

Messy pic time! Make sure you check them early, chops this size were done after 10 minutes.
