#1 D-Day Remembrance06-06-2009, 11:49 PM
I almost made it through this busy Saturday without remember that today is the anniversary of D-Day. May God bless the souls of all the soldiers who died that day fighting to oppose the evil that surged out of Germany and attempted to enslave the whole world. Peace of the Lord be with those who died later and with those who are still with us!“For we are to God the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing.
To the one we are the smell of death; to the other, the fragrance of life. And who is equal to such a task?”

Also on this day in history in 1942, the battle of Midway was winding down with victory for the USN, sinking 4 Japanese CV's (Akagi, Kaga, Soryu and Hiryu) for the loss of 1 American CV (USS Yorktown).Solve a man's problem with violence and help him for a day. Teach a man how to solve his problems with violence, help him for a lifetime - Belkar Bitterleaf
